Return Policy

At Tangled Tropicals, we’ve now launched a have a 48 hour return policy for damaged items - which means you have 48 hours after receiving your item to request a return. You must reach out with an unboxing video showing the damage within 48 hours of receiving the item.

To be eligible for a return, you must show proof the item was damaged upon arrival, and the unboxing video needs to be taken within 2 hours of the delivery time recorded by the handler (USPS, UPS etc.) It is important that you arrange to be to bring your items inside your home in a timely manner, particularly in especially hot or cold weather. We are not responsible for items damaged that are left outside for longer than that.

To start a return, please email us at Hello@TangledTropicals.com. If your return is accepted, you must return the item to 11417 Weston Course Loop postmarked within 5 business days of approval. Once the item is received, you will have the option of a full refund of your purchase price (this will exclude the cost of shipping) or a replacement plant. **Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Should your order be delayed in transit, or due to poor handling by the parcel carrier, Tangled Tropicals will not be held liable for damaged plants. We take every precaution possible to ensure a safe delivery. We do offer faster shipping options at check out. If you believe the weather in your area is too harsh for shipping, we recommend waiting until a better time. You may request delayed delivery by emailing us at Hello@TangledTropicals.com. We will hold purchased items for up to 7 days from the date of purchase, as we understand that higher demand items may sell out quickly.

 

Lost/Missing/Stolen Packages

Tangled Tropicals will not be held liable for any lost/misplaced/stolen packages that have been successfully marked as delivered. We guarantee to send your packages to the address that you provided at check out. Should your package be marked delivered via tracking, please reach out to your local branch to confirm where the package was placed.

 

Every package is insured for $100 through the USPS. Should your package be damaged in transit due to delays, mis-scans, or a missing package; you must file a claim with USPS to receive the $100 insurance which was provided with each package. They do not allow us to initiate this, so it must be handled by the person to whom the packages was addressed.

Cold Weather Protection

If the weather in your area is below 40 degrees at any point during the week after you have made a purchase, you MUST purchase a heat pack and insulation. Any purchase item that is damaged due to cold for which weather protection was not purchased will not be issued a refund or replacement.

 

Please be advise we reserve the right to hold an order if we feel weather is not conducive to shipping. We also reserve the right to cancel any order in which cold weather protection was not purchased but weather suggests is needed.

 

Damages and issues
As stated above, please inspect your order within 2 hours upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will have the option to be refunded the full purchase price or for a replacement plant to be shipped. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, which is completely out of our hands.

 

We at Tangled Tropicals appreciate our customers and your business, and strive to serve you as best as possible. Dealing with live products can be a bit more complex, and we understand the policy is very tight - however in doing so, we are able to maintain low prices and keep our business thriving for our customers.
