The Curly Spider Plant, a flowering perennial native to tropical South Africa, has long, thin, ribbon-like leaves that end in a point. These leaves grow upwards and bend downwards, resembling a spider. This variety features outward and upward growth of the leaves. The Spider Plant also produces small white flowers on a separate stalk from the leaves. Along with its air purifying qualities, this plant makes a great addition to any household or office.
